Experienced Structural Steel Layout/Fabricator

Seeking experienced Layout/Fabricator for structural steel components per drawings/specs
Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Required Skills:

D.1.1 test and fabrication test is required and performed at the site.
Experience in welding/fitting.
Experience in structural steel welding preferred.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and read a tape line.

1st Shift – M-Thurs 6am to 4pm – Friday 6am to 2:00 pm – Weekends as needed
