Industrial Painter/Painter

Location: Burlington NC 27217
Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Industrial Painter/Painter to join our team. This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking.
Apply primers and industrial-grade paints using spray equipment (airless and HVLP).
Ensure painted parts meet quality and finish standards.
Mix coatings to correct ratios and maintain proper application techniques.
Inspect completed work for thickness, coverage, and finish consistency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including paint booth and equipment.
Interpret and follow paint specs, drawings, and work orders.
Work closely with fabrication and welding departments to meet production schedules.
Qualifications / Requirements

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an industrial environment.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA standards.
Ability to read and follow instructions work orders.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industrial painting experience, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing.
Ability to read and follow instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, bending, overhead).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
