Schedule: 8–10 hour shifts | Monday–Friday, weekends as needed | Overtime available
About the Role:
We are a fast-paced, growing company seeking qualified Structural Steel Welders & Fabricators for a full-time position on our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel welding and be proficient in Flux Core (FCAW) welding processes, preferably under AWS D1.1 standards.
Responsibilities:
Read and follow shop drawings and blueprints to complete welds to required specifications
Perform Flux Core welding (FCAW) in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards
Calculate and verify material measurements to ensure accuracy
Maintain quality standards and ensure work meets structural requirements
Use appropriate welding tools, equipment, and techniques safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
Prior experience in structural welding, steel fabrication, or a similar manufacturing role
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
Familiarity with welding procedures and safety standards
AWS D1.1 certification preferred
If not certified, candidate must pass AWS D1.1 test within 30 days of hire
Physically able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
